Suryodaya Nature Retreat is a completely eco-friendly property. We value the sanctity and  safety of the environment around the property above all else.

There are 2 rooms and they are standard category.

You can book the rooms through online portals like makemytrip, booking.com or other such portals. You can also contact the property directly through our e-mail, whatsapp or the website.

The rates are dependent on the season and the occupancy rate. The rates are per person who stays at the property.

Ans:  The Check In time and Check out time in general is 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Ans:  Room can accommodate up to 5 members, the additional charges per person will be added to the regular fare.

Ans: There are no restaurants around the property or anywhere nearby so the property will provide all food for the visitors.

Ans: Uttara Kannada cuisine which includes Dosa, Idli and other local delicacies will be provided. The food is sourced out of products which are organically grown in and around the property.

Ans:

• Bathroom with 24hrs hot and cold water
• Separate kitchen for personal use (items will have to be purchased by the guests or will be arranged as per request)
• Personal safe deposit locker on request.
• Basic internet facility for use of whatsapp, E-mails etc.
• Books available to read on various subjects (Mini library)

Ans: There are 2-3 ways to reach the property

• From Bangalore Via Haveri ( Bangalore , Tumkur, Haveri , Yellapur to Karwar highway. Once you reach Baleguli you need to take a left on the YANA road around 12 kms.
• From Bangalore Via Haveri ( Bangalore , Tumkur, Haveri , Sirsi to Gokarna road via YANA road around 55 kms).
• The distance form Bangalore is around 500 kms while from Mangalore it is around 250 kms. Gokarna, the famous temple town is about 35 kms away.

Ans: The nearest airport (Mangalore Airport) is about 247 kms away from the property while the nearest railway station is Madanageri/ Gokarna  which is about 29 kms away from the property.

Ans:  Cabs can be arranged locally upon request. There are buses and tempos connecting the area to major spots nearby. However It would be advisable to travel through your own vehicle.

Ans: Sight-seeing facilities like buses or cabs can be arranged upon request. We also offer special sight-seeing packages which include all the significant spots across the district.

Ans:  There are many places to visit nearby. This includes Gokarna’s Mahashiva Temple, Om Beach, Crescent Moon beach, Mirjan Fort, Vibhuti Falls, Murudeshwara, and Yana, Banavasi, Maarikamba temple in Sirsi etc

Ans:  Yes

Ans:    We do not charge cancellation fees for bookings cancelled 15 days or before from the date of Check in and in this period any amount paid will be refunded. If the cancellation is done within 15 days no refund shall be released.

Group reservations must be cancelled minimum 15 days prior to arrival date.  Reservations cancelled after that date will be considered as occupied and full amount shall be charged, decisions may vary based on the case.

Please note our cancellation policy changes depending on period / season being booked and is mentioned on the hotel details page on our website.

In case you decide to shorten your booking post the check-in date, you will be charged for the next 24 hours after the official cancellation. Money for the remaining nights will be refunded.

In case of no show, no refund will be provided.

Ans: You can directly transfer the money through online payment modes. Only extra charges at the property will be paid through cash since there is no other mode of payment facilites.

Ans:  Activities include Trekking, Bird Watching, Yoga / Meditation, Nature Walks, Book reading /writing , indoor / outdoor games, farm activities and many others.

Ans:  No.

Ans:  Decent dressing is expected to keep in line with the cultural values of the area.

Ans:  Any Kind of Alcoholic beverage, smoking  and non vegetarian food consumption  is not allowed .
